iOS traders tend to notice two things first. One is speed — TM9 2.0 was rewritten from the ground up around how a serious trading app should feel on a phone, with order roundtrip cut to well under half of what the previous version managed. The other is that the app does not feel like a stripped-back version of something else. Tap-to-trade works on the chart canvas, studies are available where you expect them, and the order ticket carries the same options as the desktop.
The iPad deserves a mention of its own. Because the same build runs on both, an iPad becomes a comfortable charting screen for the times you are away from a desk, and installing on a second device costs nothing but a sign-in. Watchlists, layouts and open positions are already there when you open it.
Setup takes minutes. Sign in, enable biometric sign-in when prompted, connect the broker account that holds your money, and accept the notifications prompt so price, volatility and news alerts can reach the phone or your watch. Funding stays with the broker throughout, which is the boundary worth understanding before your first live order.

On iPhone the first thing worth enabling is biometric sign-in, because the app gets opened many times a day in short bursts and typing a password each time is the fastest way to stop checking positions at all.
App Store availability depends on your region, and the listing shows which iOS version the current build needs. Updates arrive through the App Store like any other app.

TM9 2.0 is rolling out on iOS and Android, and full-fledged trading runs without a desktop computer anywhere in the picture. The mobile apps carry the full trading function, technical indicators, graphical objects, account monitoring and trading history. Where installing is not possible, the Web Platform runs the same account from any browser on Windows, Mac or Linux with only an internet connection.
