The Manager Terminal is what a broker desk sits in front of all day, so it is licensed with every tier rather than sold as an upgrade. Its capabilities are the same whether the platform serves a thousand accounts or a hundred thousand.
Because the Manager Terminal ships in all three tiers, a broker desk works the same way at 1,000 accounts as at 100,000. What changes with the tier is the platform capacity behind it, not the way the desk operates.
The Manager Terminal is for the broker dealing desk and client-facing staff, rather than for traders. It ships in every tier so a small desk and a large one work the same way.
How terminals sits inside the wider TM9 platform.
Every TM9 license includes five terminals: Client Desktop, Web, Client Mobile, Manager and Administrator. Traders use the first three, broker desk staff use the Manager Terminal, and platform administrators use the Administrator Terminal. The tiers differ in account volume and trade-server count, never in which terminals you get.
Client Desktop, Web and Client Mobile serve traders; Manager serves the broker desk; Administrator serves the platform team. All five ship in Standard, Business and Express, and the client terminals share watchlists, layouts and open orders in real time. A trader can prepare on desktop, check in from the Web Terminal and manage the position from a phone without rebuilding anything.
All five terminals are included in Standard, Business and Express, so the trader, desk and administrator experience is the same at every tier. Watchlists, layouts and open orders sync between the client terminals in real time. The Web Terminal needs no installation, which makes it the quickest route for new clients.
