Installing takes seconds, but it is worth deciding at this point which device will be your main screen. Most traders run the desktop terminal or the Web Terminal for setting up charts, and use the phone app for managing positions once they are open.
The Web Terminal is worth knowing about even if you install the app, because it needs nothing installed and runs on a borrowed or locked-down machine. Whichever you start with, your watchlists and layouts follow you to the others.
This step is for new users, and for existing traders adding a second device. If you are evaluating TM9 before committing, the Web Terminal lets you look around without installing anything at all.

Getting started runs in four steps: download and install, select a good broker, fund your account on the broker side, then connect that account in TM9 and place your first trade. There are no paperwork queues and no email ping-pong in between. Your money stays with the broker throughout — TM9 never holds or touches it.
Three things: a device, a regulated broker account, and funds deposited on the broker side. TM9 supplies the software layer, including charts with over a hundred studies, alerts, copy trading and multi-device sync. The broker supplies the market access, the spreads and the funding. Getting from download to a first position is a short path, but the broker choice in the middle is the one worth taking time over.
TM9 never holds, receives or has access to client money, so every deposit and withdrawal happens on your broker side. Pick a regulated broker and verify their licence before funding anything.
