Getting Started

Select a Good Broker.

How to choose a regulated broker from the TM9 supported list before you connect an account.

Check before you commit

  • Confirm the broker is regulated in their jurisdiction.
  • Verify their licence.
  • Read up on their reputation.
  • Check they are on the TM9 supported list.

Why it matters

Your money is held by the broker, not by TM9. Their deposit, withdrawal, leverage, spread and execution policies are the ones that apply to your account.

TM9's role

TM9 is the software you trade through. We never hold, receive, or have access to client funds.

In depth

The Detail Behind It.

Three short notes on how this works day to day.

In practice

This is the step worth slowing down on. The broker decides your spreads, your leverage, your funding methods and how quickly withdrawals land. Two traders on the same TM9 app can have very different experiences purely because of the broker sitting behind it.

Worth knowing

The supported list is the shortlist, not the decision. Check how the broker handles withdrawals, what their spreads look like on the instruments you actually trade, and how quickly their support responds, because those are the things you will deal with weekly.

Who it is for

This page matters most to traders opening their first account, and to anyone thinking about moving brokers. Because the broker decides costs and withdrawals, this is the decision that shapes your experience more than any setting inside the app.

Context

Where This Fits.

How getting started sits inside the wider TM9 platform.

The four steps

Getting started runs in four steps: download and install, select a good broker, fund your account on the broker side, then connect that account in TM9 and place your first trade. There are no paperwork queues and no email ping-pong in between. Your money stays with the broker throughout — TM9 never holds or touches it.

What you need before you trade

Three things: a device, a regulated broker account, and funds deposited on the broker side. TM9 supplies the software layer, including charts with over a hundred studies, alerts, copy trading and multi-device sync. The broker supplies the market access, the spreads and the funding. Getting from download to a first position is a short path, but the broker choice in the middle is the one worth taking time over.

Good to know

TM9 never holds, receives or has access to client money, so every deposit and withdrawal happens on your broker side. Pick a regulated broker and verify their licence before funding anything. Trading carries a real risk of loss, and nothing in the app is financial advice. Support runs through WhatsApp or email if you get stuck on any step.
