Overview

Your First Sign-In in Short.

Downloading the TM9 mobile app for the Forex and exchange markets from the Play Store or the App Store is the easy half. The first sign-in is where the app becomes yours, and it is worth spending ten unhurried minutes on it rather than rushing to a first trade.

Start by signing in and, on supported devices, enabling biometric sign-in. Then connect the broker account you trade through. That link is the important one: from then on, every order placed in the app is sent to that broker, who holds your funds, sets your spreads and executes what the app sends. TM9 never holds money at any point, which is why funding questions always go to the broker rather than to us.

Next comes setup, and this is the part that pays back daily. Build a watchlist containing only the instruments you genuinely follow — five well-chosen symbols beat forty you scroll past. Open a chart, add the studies you actually use, and save the layout. Decide, in writing if it helps, how much you are willing to risk on a single trade. Accept the notifications prompt so alerts can reach you.

Then make the first trade a deliberately small one. The point is not profit; it is watching the complete path once — order sent, position open, stop in place, position closed — so the mechanics are familiar before size is involved. Everything after that is the same loop with different numbers.

Because watchlists, layouts and open orders sync with your account, all of this work follows you to the Web Terminal and the desktop terminal. For everything the app can do, see the TM9 home page.

  • Open a chart and save a layout.
  • Decide your risk per trade.
  • Allow notifications for alerts.
In depth

The Detail Behind It.

Three short notes on how this works day to day.

In practice

A good first exercise is the smallest possible trade, taken purely to watch the whole path: order sent, position open, stop set, position closed. After that the only variable left is size.

Worth knowing

Deposits and withdrawals happen on your broker side, never in the app, so a first funding question is always faster to resolve with them.

Who it is for

This page is for new users who have just installed TM9, and for brokers writing a welcome guide for their clients.

Context

Where This Fits.

How download sits inside the Trade Master 9 platform.

Getting the app

TM9 2.0 is rolling out on iOS and Android, and full-fledged trading runs without a desktop computer anywhere in the picture. The mobile apps carry the full trading function, technical indicators, graphical objects, account monitoring and trading history. Where installing is not possible, the Web Platform runs the same account from any browser on Windows, Mac or Linux with only an internet connection.

Good to know

TM9 is a software development company and does not provide investment or brokerage services. The platform supplies the trading terminals, analysis tools and automation; your broker holds the funds, sets spreads and leverage, and executes the orders the platform sends. Trading carries a real risk of loss, and signals or robots are tools rather than financial advice.
