Overview

Updating the Mobile App in Short.

Once you have downloaded the TM9 mobile app for the Forex and exchange markets to your phone or tablet, keeping it current matters more than it does for most software. A trading mobile app sits between you and a live market, and the improvements that arrive in updates — faster execution, better charting, new security — apply to real money rather than convenience.

On Android, updates come through Google Play: open the store, find TM9 under your apps, and tap Update, or leave automatic updates enabled and skip the whole routine. On iPhone and iPad, the App Store handles it the same way, with automatic app updates available in iOS settings. Store installs are the reason updating is this simple, and a good argument for installing from the store rather than any other route.

What arrives in an update is not always cosmetic. TM9 2.0 rewrote the execution engine, cutting order roundtrip to under 40 milliseconds on average; brought in an in-house charting library with one-tap orders from the canvas; redesigned copy trading around risk caps you control; and added biometric sign-in over hardware-backed key storage. Running an older build means trading without those.

The only habit worth adopting is timing. Update outside market hours where you can, because an update that lands mid-session closes the app briefly, and that is avoidable when positions are open. Nothing is at risk either way — watchlists, layouts, open orders and history live with your account rather than on the device, so they are all there when the app reopens.

Updating the Mobile App.

How to keep the TM9 mobile app current on Android and iOS, and why updates matter for trading.

Android

Open Google Play, find TM9 under My apps, and tap Update — or leave automatic updates enabled so it happens without you.

iPhone and iPad

Open the App Store, check your account page for pending updates, and update TM9 from there, or enable automatic app updates in iOS settings.

Why it matters

TM9 2.0 brought a rewritten execution engine, new charting, redesigned copy trading and biometric security. Staying current is how those reach your device.

In depth

The Detail Behind It.

Three short notes on how this works day to day.

In practice

The sensible habit is to update outside market hours. An update that lands mid-session closes the app briefly, which is avoidable annoyance when you have positions open.

Worth knowing

Because watchlists, layouts and open orders live with the account rather than the device, updating never puts your setup at risk. Everything is there again when the app reopens.

Who it is for

This page is for traders still on an older build, and for anyone deciding whether to leave automatic updates on.

Context

Where This Fits.

How download sits inside the Trade Master 9 platform.

Getting the app

TM9 2.0 is rolling out on iOS and Android, and full-fledged trading runs without a desktop computer anywhere in the picture. The mobile apps carry the full trading function, technical indicators, graphical objects, account monitoring and trading history. Where installing is not possible, the Web Platform runs the same account from any browser on Windows, Mac or Linux with only an internet connection.

Good to know

TM9 is a software development company and does not provide investment or brokerage services. The platform supplies the trading terminals, analysis tools and automation; your broker holds the funds, sets spreads and leverage, and executes the orders the platform sends. Trading carries a real risk of loss, and signals or robots are tools rather than financial advice.
