A handful of questions come up before anyone commits time to a new trading platform, so here are the short answers for the TM9 Web Platform. Do you need to install anything? No — connect to the internet, log in to your trading account, and the trading and analytical features open in the browser.
Which browsers and systems work? Virtually any modern web browser and operating system, which is the point of a browser-based platform. Is it a reduced version of the desktop? No — it is designed to provide functionality comparable to the TM9 desktop trading environment, with charts, market analysis, trading tools and account management.
Can you practise first? Yes. A demo account allows practice in a simulated environment, with access to many of the same features as a real account, though demo trading involves no real funds and therefore produces no real profits or losses. Is the session secure? Data transmitted between the browser and the platform is securely encrypted.
